“My time at CSC so far has been both interesting and exciting. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. I have learnt a great deal of information since joining CSC, from the company’s direction to how we provide services to our clients. I perform several day to day tasks which includes gathering daily backup information which I compile into a report and share with other teams.
I am also responsible for distributing weekly capacity information and highlighting any issues. I attend the Daily Service Review conference call and discuss any major incidents that have occurred and suggest the best way to deal with these. I also get involved with queue management, resolving Cloud tickets and assigning tickets to certain engineers.
More recently I have been given a big responsibility within my team which is to manage any new builds service requests. I am also responsible for “Operational Readiness Reviews” within our team to understand whether we can support a server following a project completion. This is a really important role and I feel privileged to have been asked to manage this and it ensures that I have plenty of work to do.” – Adil Selant
