Agility Platform Azure Adapter version 3.1.0 released

I previously provided an update on the Agility Platform‘s Azure Adapter used to enhance our integration with Microsoft Azure by providing formal support for Resource Manager. Now  I want to share with you another released update, version 3.1.0 of the Azure Adapter.

Based on feedback from our customers, we improved the integration by allowing administrators of Agility to specify the Resource Manager Resource Groups at the Project and Environment levels within Agility. With this improvement, this new feature provides greater flexibility for managing all of the assets, including VMs, Networks, Network Security Groups and Network Interface Cards.

With this updated Azure adapter, we now also support RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) as a deployable image. Customers utilizing the Azure Adapter can not only provision Windows instances, they can now deploy RHEL instances into Azure from the Agility Platform.

With every update of the core product and individual adapters, we provide fixes for customer-identified issues. Please refer to the release notes for additional details.

Customers who have the Agility Platform installed within their own Data Center(s) can upgrade to the newest version of Agility and/or updated adapters. Please refer to the documentation to review which versions of the Agility Platform the Adapters have been certified against; an upgrade of Agility may be required.

For customers using CSC managed Cloud offerings, such as BizCloud or CSC Hybrid Cloud, please discuss this with your account representative since those CSC Services follow a separate schedule for updating the platform and the unique services they provide.
